EM Radiance began as both a personal journey and a scientific pursuit. Living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), a connective tissue disorder associated with impaired wound healing and abnormal scarring, sparked my interest in the biology of skin repair and formulation science. While exploring research surrounding scar formation, barrier repair, and ingredient chemistry, I recognized an opportunity to develop products grounded in scientific evidence rather than marketing trends.

What started as a personal project evolved into a multidisciplinary venture combining dermatologic research, formulation science, entrepreneurship, branding, and product development. Throughout the process, I learned that translating research into a consumer product requires balancing scientific evidence with manufacturing, regulatory standards, and user experience.

I founded EM Radiance after years of living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that affects how my skin heals and scars. I knew the gap firsthand: products that either felt clinical but didn't perform, or performed on paper but weren't made for complex skin. Together, these naturally occurring lipids help restore barrier function, improve hydration, and support long-term skin resilience. By replenishing essential barrier components, they help protect the skin from environmental stressors while promoting a smoother, healthier complexion.

  • Niacinamide

    VITAMIN B3 + VITAMIN B5

    Tone & discoloration · Texture · Hydration

    Together, these two B-vitamin derivatives address skin tone and surface quality. Niacinamide regulates sebum production, strengthens the skin barrier, and reduces post-acne marks and discoloration. Panthenol hydrates and supports healing. Paired, they improve skin texture and overall complexion — particularly in skin recovering from chronic or repeated damage.

    HIPPOPHAE RHAMNOIDES FRUIT OIL

    Rich in omega-7 fatty acids and vitamins A, C, and E, sea buckthorn oil supports collagen production and active skin regeneration. Its anti-inflammatory properties reduce redness and protect against oxidative stress — making it effective at reducing scar visibility while the underlying skin heals.

    Traditionally used to reduce bruising and localized inflammation, arnica flower extract helps accelerate the clearance of trapped blood beneath the skin, minimizing bruise discoloration.
